The August 2026 issue has been published

Issue 8 of volume 48 of Historia naturalis bulgarica was published today, 3 August. It includes three articles.

The first, Campanula lactiflora – first report of a well-established neophyte in the Bulgarian flora, with some notes on C. latifolia by Rossen Vassilev, Antoaneta Petrova, Boris Assyov and Atanas Tanev, presents first records of Campanula lactiflora as naturalised and propagating non-native species in Bulgaria and the Balkans.

The second, Parasitism in the armadillo Zaedyus pichiy (Cingulata: Chlamyphoridae) from San Juan Province, Argentina by Gabriel N. Castillo, Cynthia J. González-Rivas, Lucas C. Zuñiga, Ruben Fernandez-Reinoso, Leandro F. Castillo and Rodolfo O. Noriega, presents parasites of the piche armadillo Zaedyus pichiy (Desmarest, 1804) from San Juan Province, Argentina.

And the third, First records of Stegonsporium pyriforme (Hoffm.) Corda and Massaria macra (Vestergr.) Voglmayr & Jaklitsch on Acer platanoides L. and A. campestre L. in Bulgaria by Veselin Ivanov, Tsvetan Dimitrov, Margarita Georgieva, Georgi Georgiev and Denitsa Petrova, presents the first records of Stegonsporium pyriforme and Massaria macra on Acer platanoides and A. campestre in Bulgaria.
