The March 2026 issue has been published

Issue 3 of volume 48 of Historia naturalis bulgarica was published today, 2 March. It includes two articles.

The first, Myriochila (Myriochila) melancholica melancholica (Fabricius, 1798) (Coleoptera, Cicindelidae), an expectable addition to the Bulgarian fauna by Fabian A. Boetzl, Lara Burtchen and Teodora Teofilova, presents the first record of Myriochila (Myriochila) melancholica (Fabricius, 1798) (Coleoptera, Cicindelidae) for the territory of Bulgaria.

And the second, Eupelmus (Eupelmus) urozonus Dalman (Hymenoptera: Eupelmidae) – a new egg parasitoid of Thaumetopoea pityocampa (Denis & Schiffermüller) (Lepidoptera: Notodontidae) in Bulgaria by Miroslav Antov, Maria Dobreva, Peter Boyadzhiev, Plamen Mirchev and Georgi Georgiev, presents Eupelmus (Eupelmus) urozonus (Hymenoptera: Eupelmidae) as a new egg parasitoid of Thaumetopoea pityocampa (Lepidoptera: Notodontidae) in Bulgaria.

Additionally, Corrigendum: Checklist of the Phoridae (Diptera, Aschiza) of the Balkan Peninsula countries by Mario Langourov, includes corrections to a previously published article.
