The second issue of volume 48 of Historia naturalis bulgarica was published today, 2 February. It includes three articles.
The first,
Revealing the lichenised and lichenicolous diversity of Parangalitsa Reserve, Bulgaria: first records of two noteworthy species for the country by
Snezhina Popova and
Veselin V. Shivarov, presents two noteworthy new records for Bulgaria, Gyalecta flotowii and Microcalicium disseminatum. Both species were found in the Parangalitsa Reserve, which is expected to be one of the hotspots for lichen biodiversity in the country but remains understudied.
The second,
New records of Psocodea (Insecta) from Guadeloupe, Lesser Antilles by
Dilian Georgiev and
Todor Mishev, reports 20 species of Psocodea collected in Guadeloupe (Lesser Antilles) during August 2025. Ten are new to the department, and for the Lesser Antilles as a whole.
The third,
New tree hosts of xylophagous beetles (Insecta: Coleoptera) in Bulgaria by
Georgi Georgiev,
Vladimir Sakalian,
Margarita Georgieva,
Veselin Ivanov and Denitsa Petrova, presents new data of 12 taxa from 4 families of xylophagous beetles.
