Label information, specimen condition, and preservation details are provided. Primary types include 11 extant and one fossil Mycetophilidae species (Acnemia vratzatica Bechev, Anaclileia beshovskii Bechev, Chalastonepsia vumanhi Kazandzhieva, Ectrepesthoneura arturi Bechev, Ectrepesthoneura ledenikiensis Bechev, Greenomyia tomovi Bechev et Pavlova, Leia graeca Bechev, Mycetophila devioides Bechev, Polylepta meridionalis Bechev (junior syn. of P. zonata), Sciophila muglolutea Bechev et Koç, Sciophila turkolutea Bechev et Koç, Sciophila zaitzevi Bechev) and six Keroplatidae species (Macrocera gemagea Bechev, Macrorrhyncha thracica Bechev, Macrorrhyncha veleka Bechev, Monocentrota matilei Bechev, Orfelia gruevi Bechev, Urytalpa chandleri Bechev et Koç). Paratypes of five Mycetophilidae (A. vratzatica Bechev, A. beshovskii Bechev, Dziedzickia pectinata Ševčík, Bechev et Hippa, M. devioides Bechev, P. meridionalis Bechev) and three Keroplatidae species (Macrorrhyncha anatolica Bechev, M. matilei Bechev, O. gruevi Bechev) are also documented.
