Abstract: Based on its anatomy, a new species of the genus Muangnua is described from Northern Vietnam. This is the third species in this genus, which is endemic to Southeast Asia, and the first one described from Vietnam. The newly found species expands the geographical range of the genus with more than 650 kilometres to the northeast.
