Status — Endemic

The range of the species is confined to Central and South-East Europe. In Bulgaria reported from the mountains of Stara Planina, Vitosha, Rila and Pirin from 1700 (Vitosha (Platoto)) (Buresch & Tuleschkow, 1930: 189) to 2800 m (Vihren Peak, Pirin Mts) (Krzywicki, 1981: 45).
